"Onyx", shown above, shows a beautiful African-American woman in repose. The painting/sculpture features a unique combination of reverse painting on hand cut acrylic glass with elegant rivulets of heated and poured resin luxuriously forming braids of hair on the front of the glass. A beautiful, solitary black onyx stone is adhered to a painted necklace around her neck. At 30” x 40” she’s a medium-large painting. A structural frame mounted to the back offsets the image from your wall while the irregular shape of the hand cut glass makes an eye-catching statement on your wall. Jada features a solitary Jade Nephrite stone which is adhered to her earring. Jade Nephrite is known as a stone with a heart of healing, and a stone for healing the heart.
